Transfer Alert: Crimson Tide Add Experienced Arm to 2025 Roster

Tuscaloosa, AL — July 2, 2025 — The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball program has added a valuable piece to its pitching staff, landing right-hander Tyler Boudreau, a transfer from Texas Tech. The announcement was made via Boudreau’s social media and confirmed by multiple reports, signaling another strong addition to Alabama’s 2025 roster.

Boudreau, a native of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, began his collegiate career at Midland College, where he emerged as one of the top junior college arms in the nation. During the 2024 season, he went 11–2, throwing seven complete games, and was named WJCAC Pitcher of the Year.

After transferring to Texas Tech, Boudreau appeared in 13 games during the 2025 season, making 10 starts. Despite finishing with a 1–4 record and a 6.65 ERA, he struck out 49 batters in 47.1 innings, showcasing impressive swing-and-miss potential.
