Triple Threat: Tigers’ Stars Shine Bright in All-Star Selections

No surprise here — three red-hot Detroit Tigers stars have been voted into the All-Star Game starting lineup, highlighting what’s been a breakout season in Motown.

Riley Greene, Javier Báez, and Gleyber Torres will represent Detroit as starters in the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday, July 15, at Truist Park in Atlanta. Greene and Báez will join Yankees slugger Aaron Judge in the American League outfield, while Torres will start at second base.

The announcement cements the Tigers’ status as one of baseball’s top teams in 2025, with the trio’s standout performances powering Detroit’s push toward the postseason.

Pitcher Tarik Skubal also earned an All-Star nod and could get the chance to start the game, though starting pitchers won’t be officially announced until the day before the event.

The full All-Star rosters will be revealed on Sunday, giving Tigers fans even more to look forward to during this magical season.
