The Alabama Crimson Tide added a key piece to their 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of wide receiver Brian Williams Jr., who chose Alabama over Penn State, Florida, and Notre Dame.
Williams, a lanky 6-foot-4 prospect from Florida, is rated a three-star receiver by 247Sports with an 86 grade. He ranks as the No. 106 player in Florida and the No. 162 receiver nationally in the 2026 class.
“He’s a traits-heavy outside receiver with length and burst but hasn’t fully translated it to big on-field production yet,” 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins noted. “He shows good initial quickness and clean footwork to beat man coverage but needs to add physicality.”
For head coach Kalen DeBoer, the commitment marks another promising addition as he enters his second season leading Alabama. DeBoer impressed in his first year by guiding the Crimson Tide to a 9-4 record, continuing the program’s competitiveness in the post-Nick Saban era.
With Williams Jr. joining the fold, Alabama’s future receiving corps looks poised to add more firepower in the coming years.
