Big changes are coming off the field for Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff — starting with diapers.
Just before the kickoff of a crucial NFL season, the 30-year-old quarterback and his wife, Christen Harper, welcomed their first child. Their daughter, Romy Isabelle, was born on July 15, as announced in a heartfelt joint Instagram post.
The couple, who tied the knot in June 2024, shared back in February that they were expecting. Speaking on the NFL Honors red carpet, Goff shared his excitement: “I’m looking forward to becoming a dad. I can’t wait to watch [Harper] be a mom.”
Christen added lovingly, “I know he’s going to be the best [dad], and it’s just gonna be exciting to do this together as a team.”
Their Instagram post included touching photos — one of Goff cradling baby Romy, and others showing sweet moments from Christen’s pregnancy, capturing the beginning of their journey into parenthood.
