Kelly Stafford Breaks Silence on Podcast Co-Host’s Absence Amid Misconduct Allegations

Kelly Stafford, wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has finally addressed the absence of her podcast co-host and close friend, Hank Winchester, following allegations of sexual misconduct.

On the latest episode of The Morning After, Kelly acknowledged the recent changes to the show’s lineup, noting, “I know TMA has looked a little differently over the last few weeks.” While she didn’t directly reference the investigation, she mentioned that Winchester is “dealing with some personal stuff” and asked listeners to “bear with us.”

Winchester, a longtime Detroit TV reporter, was placed on administrative leave by WDIV in June after a male masseuse accused him of making unwanted advances. Police searched Winchester’s home during the investigation, though no charges have been filed.

His attorney has strongly denied the claims, calling them “false accusations” and suggesting the matter will “end where it began — nowhere.”

Despite the controversy, Kelly remained vague about whether Winchester will return to the show, instead focusing on the upcoming NFL season and promising listeners they’ll be hearing more from her and the team soon.

Winchester, known for his work as WDIV’s “Help Me Hank” reporter, has been a fixture in Detroit media for over two decades. He is also close to the Stafford family and frequently discussed parenting and personal life alongside Kelly on their podcast.

As the investigation continues, the future of their popular podcast—and Winchester’s role in it—remains uncertain.
