Former Brook Hill Guard A.J. Minter has signed a two-year, $22 million deal with the New York Mets, with an opt-out after the 2025 season, according to MLB.com. Minter, who pitched for the Atlanta Braves since 2017, had a strong 2024 season, making 39 appearances with a 2.62 ERA and 35 strikeouts over 34 1/3 innings. His season was cut short by hip surgery in August, but he still finished strong, allowing only three runs in his last 19 games.
