Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff isn’t one to throw shade without purpose — but this time, his words hit different. Ahead of the Lions’ Week 10 showdown with the Washington Commanders, Goff made a statement that sent shivers down the spines of D.C. fans everywhere.
“That’s definitely a part of it, absolutely,” Goff said when asked if last year’s playoff loss to Washington is still on their minds. “We want to get off of a losing streak here and get a ‘W.’ … Maybe use that as a little added motivation if we need it.”
