End-Zone Celebration Sparks Drama
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown found himself at the center of a bizarre and heated moment during Sunday’s Week 10 clash against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. After scoring a touchdown late in the first quarter, St. Brown celebrated in the end zone with the now-famous “Trump Dance,” a playful nod to President Donald Trump, who was in attendance.
Unexpected Retaliation on the Field
What started as a spirited celebration quickly escalated. Early in the second quarter, during Detroit’s next possession, St. Brown was unexpectedly struck in the face by Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne. The blow appeared to come out of nowhere, leaving fans and players stunned.
