Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is loving the fast pace of Trump’s administration, saying it’s a refreshing change from the usual slow-moving government.
Talking to Newsmax, Lee pointed out that government usually drags its feet, taking twice as long to get anything done compared to the private sector. After working in business for 35 years, he finds the bureaucracy frustrating. But with Trump in charge, things are moving at “real-world speed,” and he believes most Americans are happy to see a president actually delivering on campaign promises quickly.
Lee sees this as a huge opportunity for state leaders like himself to put common-sense policies into action without all the usual red tape. “It’s one of the most encouraging moments in our history,” he said, adding that breaking the status quo is exactly what people voted for when they re-elected Trump.
He’s not alone in this thinking—other GOP leaders have also praised Trump’s approach, especially when it comes to shaking up government agencies like the Department of Education.
Lee’s message? The Trump administration isn’t wasting time, and he’s here for it.
