Levi Onwuzurike is staying in Detroit. The Lions’ defensive lineman had opportunities in free agency but opted to re-sign with the team that drafted him in 2021.
Onwuzurike, who played in 16 games with 10 starts last season, was one of Detroit’s more reliable defenders during a year filled with injuries. Now, the Lions are hoping he can be part of a healthier, stronger defense in 2025. Ranked No. 31 on the list of top 100 free agents, his return adds depth to a defensive front looking to take another step forward.
