This Weekend Could Make or Break DeBoer’s Bama Buzz

DeBoer Looks to Keep Bama’s Recruiting Hot Streak Alive with Another Big Weekend

After a stacked visit weekend last week, Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer is riding some real momentum on the recruiting trail — and he’s not slowing down. He just landed a big commitment from four-star offensive tackle Sam Utu, and Bama’s now in a great spot to reel in even more top talent for the 2026 class, including five-star safety Jireh Edwards.

This weekend, Alabama’s rolling out the red carpet again for seven more high-profile recruits. It might not be quite as star-studded as last week, but it’s still a big opportunity for DeBoer to keep building what could be another top-five recruiting class in just his second year.

Who’s Visiting Tuscaloosa This Weekend:

Brandon Arrington (5⭐ ATH, CA)– Big name. Already visited Penn State, Washington, and Texas A\&M. Still has trips planned to Oregon and USC. A tough West Coast pull, but if Bama gets him, he’s a huge addition to the secondary.
Somourian Wingo (4⭐ WR, FL)
Elijah Golden (4⭐ DL, FL)
Roman Voss (4⭐ ATH, MN)
Nick Abrams II (4⭐ LB, MD)
Wilson Zierer (3⭐ OT, GA)
Karon Mayock (3⭐ S, FL)

Arrington’s the headline guy. He’s a big-time athlete who could play both ways, and if Bama can convince him to leave the West Coast, he’d be a huge piece in an already loaded defensive backfield.

Speaking of that secondary — Alabama’s looking stacked for 2025. They’re bringing back Domani Jackson and Zabien Brown at corner, plus Keon Sabb and Bray Hubbard at safety. And that’s not even counting five-star Dijon Lee Jr. and other top guys from the 2025 class who are coming in.

The 2026 class still has room to grow, but it’s off to a good start with five-star corner Jorden Edmonds and four-star Zyan Gibson. Adding someone like Arrington — especially if DeBoer pitches a Travis Hunter-style dual-role for him — could take it to the next level.
