Bama Boys on Fire: Final Round Showdown Coming at RBC Canadian Open!

**Alabama Golfers Ready to Bring the Heat in RBC Canadian Open Final Round**

Lee Hodges, a former Alabama golfer, is locked in a tight race going into Sunday’s final round at the RBC Canadian Open. Hodges is sitting at 13 under par, just one shot behind the leaders Matteo Manassero and Ryan Fox. He’ll tee off in the second-to-last group alongside Kevin Yu at 12:35 p.m., chasing his second PGA Tour win.

Lee’s not flying solo — fellow ex-Crimson Tide golfer Trey Mullinax is also in the mix, tied for 29th at eight under. Mullinax kicks off his final round early at 9:55 a.m. with Peter Malnati.

Meanwhile back home, Alabama golf commit Bailey Sutter is dominating the Alabama State Amateur, holding a three-shot lead heading into the last round at the Robert Trent Jones course in Prattville.

On the softball field, the first AUSL game featured former Crimson Tide pitchers Montana Fouts and Lexi Kilfoyl going head-to-head. Kilfoyl took the win, holding strong for four innings with just one run allowed, while Fouts pitched solidly but gave up two runs.

In football news, former Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain was named Pro Football Focus’s most valuable non-QB player for 2024.

And off the field, former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was out in North Carolina running a football camp, connecting with local kids and giving back to the community.

Only 83 days until kickoff for the Crimson Tide’s 2025 football season—can’t wait!
